Sài Gòn Thơ Fest (2025) Visual Identity (P.4)
Working backward and forward.
After getting the illustration for Day poster done, I move on the the Night poster. Main poster would be the last to be done since it will be the combination of Day and Night ones. After the first poster being done, and I figure out the way to make text form a 3D impression simulating uneven surface, I make another version of the text "wave" with a more flowing appearance to represent water (while the previous one represents a slab of rock) to achieve both unity and variation in the design. This logic also applies for color as well as silhouette of characters. Contrast and Unity.
I also bring back some elements I've picked out from the mood board presentation aka the use of basic shape (in this case, round) and more vivid, funky color with accented neon to reflect some architectural feature of the venues involved.
This is the final Night poster visual . There is currently no super elaborated version of the Night poster yet
I, of cos, want to do something a bit extra, some here are the animated versions of 2 posters Day & Night
